Everstar Wine Cooler Not Working in Safety Harbor: A Loose Plug

A client in Safety Harbor called about their built-in wine cooler (an Everstar Wine Cellar, model HDC36SS) — it wasn’t working at all.

No power, but not because anything failed

Right away it looked like a power issue — nothing on the unit was lit up or running, which usually points at the cord, the outlet, or something inside that’s actually failed. Pulling the unit out to get to the outlet behind it showed the real cause: the plug had simply worked itself loose and popped out of the outlet.

Plugged back in and running

With the plug back in and seated properly, the cooler powered right up. We checked it over to confirm it was running normally before calling it done — this unit is older, but it’s got a solid compressor in it, so there was no reason to expect trouble beyond the power issue itself.

Result
