Thermador Range Oven Not Heating Properly in Palm Harbor: Control Board Replaced

Thermador Pro six-burner gas range in a kitchen in Palm Harbor
Symptom
The oven on a Thermador gas range wasn't heating properly.
Cause
Diagnosis traced the fault to the range's control board.
Fix
Replaced the control board.

The oven on this Thermador Pro range in Palm Harbor wasn’t heating the way it should. The model is PRG366GH/06, a 36-inch gas range with six burners.

We diagnosed it on site, and the fault came down to the control board. That’s the board that runs the oven, and on this range it lives under the cooktop. Getting to it means opening up the top.

An oven that heats poorly isn’t always a board. On gas ovens the igniter is a common one too, which is why we test before ordering anything. For what else goes wrong on these, there’s our oven repair page.
