Common Sub-Zero problems we fix
Water or ice dispenser turning on by itself
Usually the display and dispenser boards, which are best replaced as a set. We've also traced it to a chewed cable between the boards — so we check the wiring before ordering parts.
Unit completely dead after a storm or power surge
Florida lightning is hard on refrigerator electronics. When everything but the interior light is out, the control board is the usual suspect.
Freezer or refrigerator not holding temperature
A failed evaporator or condenser fan, or a condenser clogged with dust, will let a Sub-Zero warm up slowly. These are often fixable the same visit.
Ice maker not producing
Most often the water inlet valve or the ice maker assembly itself. We check water supply and freezer temperature first so you're not paying for a part you don't need.
Door not closing or sealing properly
Panel-ready doors are heavy, and hinges, closers, and gaskets wear. A door that doesn't seal will make the whole unit work harder.

How quickly can you fix my Sub-Zero?
We offer same-day appointments when available, and many repairs — fan motors, for example — are finished on the first visit. Some Sub-Zero parts, like control boards, have to be ordered from the factory, which typically adds a couple of days.
Can you work on panel-ready and integrated Sub-Zero units?
Yes, including removing and correctly reinstalling custom door panels when a repair calls for it.
Is it worth repairing an older Sub-Zero?
